My Italian mother is turning in her grave after the experience we had! We went to the restaurant and were seated immediately as there were a few open tables. That was good but what wasn't so good was that it took our server 25 minutes to stop by and ask us if we wanted something to drink. There is no way that a customer should be greeted that late after being seated immediately. The place was not crowed and there wasn't even a line of people waiting to be seated. The server said that she gets absent-minded when she is so busy. What! There were empty tables for heaven's sake!!! How could she think that she was so busy when we only saw her serve about six tables total! Come on, really, six tables and you are losing your mind? She obviously isn't cut out for waitressing. To make the experience even better, every time we asked for a refill on our water, she would say "OK" and then forget to bring the water. We had to ask over and over again before she finally figured out that she has to put the empty glass under the tap to refill it, duh! The food was horrible. The red sauce has no flavor and the meatballs are huge but extremely disappointing. The noodles were so overcooked they literally turned into mush when I tried to pick them up with my fork. Ever hear of "al dente" people? I don't know how this place is in business with the crappy food they put out. The food they serve is an insult to Italy and to use "Italian" in their name is a travesty. Anyway, to top it off, we asked to speak to the manager. He was so rude, impolite, and his superior attitude was so off putting that we will never go there again. He didn't even offer to discount the tab or provide us with a gift certificate to come back (not that we would anyway). Save yourself the hassle and headache and stay far, far away from this place.
